I want to comment on how well the 'XXX' event went. I didn't check my watch but we were finished on Sunday before 3 pm! Probably around 2:45 pm. This was for 7 23-lap races.

The key was doing 2 20-minute warm up groups and scheduling 3 races before the quiet hour. Even with a lengthy double yellow in the first race we still had 10-15 minutes to spare after the 3rd race before 11 am.

Hmm, why can't we do that for the regional races :?:  They are scheduled for 15 or 17 laps.

Weren't there 2 new track records set on Sunday? I know one was for Formula Atlantic.

I can still hear those D Sports Racers running in my head. And massive tire squeal from all the Showroom Stock C cars.

We set SIX, count 'em, SIX new records...

FA - Richard Ross 1:02.460
FE - Mark Eaton 1:07.662
CSR - Jacek Mucha 1:03.732
DSR - Jen-Luc Liverato 1:02.007 (Bond... James Bond...)
FP - David Bryson 1:18.043
GTL - Dan Robson 1:18.801

I didn't think anyone would equal Tom Nadtasi's FA record... That one stood for five years!

I think Jean-Luc was dissapointed... He had turned a 1:01 and change in qualifying for DSR. Wow! We changed the "minimum lap time" setting on the computer down to 0:58 in anticipation... awwwww.

Dan Robson reset his own record for GTL, and the FE class is still trying to sort itself out, so congrats to Mark. Keep it up!
