Huh, I was trolling around looking at old posts, noticed this one.
When SCCA events are running and I'm there, I set up a WiFi network called "Timing" that is general-access. To get to it, you have to be somewhat close to the tech barn or the scoring tower. We share the 1 Mbps DSL line out of the registration building. Things can get a bit bogged down if we have too many people trying to do things during the day, so be nice to other folks that are on the network and don't be a bandwidth hog.
There are other WiFi networks based out of the track manager's house and the registration building, but they are password protected.
